GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan dropped a 183-77 decision to #3 NYU in the home opener for the men's swimming team at the Tony Lisa Natatorium, evening the Profs' record at 1-1 for the year.

Senior Jack Watson earned a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.86) and came in second in the 50 freestyle (21.30).

Tobias Cahnbley was 1st in the 100 backstroke (53.44) and then took 2nd in the 500 freestyle (4:51.16).

Braden Sheehan picked up a first-place finish  the 200-yd freestyle (1:45.25).

Cahnbley and Watson joined with Alex Volin and Josh Oliviera to post a winning time (3:13.50) in the 400 freestyle relay.

In the 1000 freestyle, Gavin Danze (9:56.81) and Julian Huynh (9:59.48) placed second and third, respectively.

The Profs return to action on Saturday, November 2, in a Homecoming day meet with Salisbury beginning at noon.
