MAHWAH, NJ -
Mackenzie Clement registered two goals and three assists, while
Sara Wiedeman and
Simone Pacetti chipped in two each, as Rowan defeated Ramapo, 8-0, in NJAC women's soccer action. The Profs remain unbeaten overall (13-0-2) and in conference play (8-0).
Clement tied her career-high in points with seven, and is the Profs' leading scorer with 35 points this season.
The Profs jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half, starting with Clement's goal at 4:44, assisted by
Lianna SanFelice.
Olivia Giordano knocked one in less than two minutes later,
for her team-best 15th of the year, assisted by Clement. Clement would assist on the next two goals, one by Wiedeman and one by Pacetti.
Clement opened the second half by scoring at 56:37, with the assist from
Angela Oliveto to increase the lead to 5-0.
Julianna Giordano got into the scoring column at 67:45 after SanFelice notched her second assist. Wiedeman tied her career-high with her second goal at 72:17 and Pacetti closed out the scoring at 76:41 after taking a pass from
Frankie Ryan, to tie her career high in goals.
Calista Burke and
Gemma Keesler shared the shutout, which was the eighth of the year. Burke made one save and Keesler had two in the second half.
Rowan will host TCNJ on Wednesday in a game (6 p.m.) that will decide the NJAC regular-season champion.
