Jenna Gray scored two goals to lead Rowan to a 5-0 win over Kean in field hockey action today, with its fourth straight win that improved the Profs to 8-7 and 3-0 in the NJAC. Goalie
Mariah Juiliano made four saves to record her third shutout of the season.
Allie Palumbo got the Profs started when she scored her team-best ninth goal of the year, taking a pass from
Paige Gray at 18:35.
Jenna Gray gave Rowan a 2-0 lead with an unassisted goal at 30:54 and followed up with her second at 34:13 when she dribbled around the Kean defense and put it in the cage for a 3-0 Profs' lead. She now has eight goals on the season.
Kaylee Wenzel added one at 47:25 when she put it in from the near post after taking a feed from
Sidney Pavlishin. Pavlishin then scored one of her own at 51:46, as she scored off a rebound.
The Profs held a dominating 25-12 lead in shots as Kean goalie Daniella Maresca had to make 13 saves.
Rowan will be back at home on Wednesday evening when it hosts William Paterson at 6 p.m.
