HOBOKEN, NJ – Rowan took down Stevens, 167-95, on Saturday in the season opener for the Profs.
FINAL RESULTS
The team captured first place in 10 events led by
Jack Watson and
Tobias Cahnbley who each had three top finishes. Watson was first in the 100 back (50.56) and part of the 200 medley relay (1:35.16) along with
Gavin Luong,
Henry Lynch, and
Andrew Dang as well as the 400 free relay (3:12.12) with Cahnbley,
Braden Sheehan, and Dang.
Cahnbley took first in the 200 free (1:47.15) and 200 back (1:56.42). Rookie
Julian Huynh scored two wins in his collegiate debut: the 500 free (4:52.16), and 200 IM (2:02.79).
Other top performers included Luong in the 50 free (22.08),
Gavin Danze in the 1000 free (10:20.27), and
T.J. Moderski in the 200 fly (2:03.09).
The home opener takes place on Saturday, October 26th against NYU at the Tony Lisa Natatorium starting at noon.
