Lodge Selected to the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Women's Track & Field Team

GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan's Molly Lodge was chosen to the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Women's Track & Field Team as voted on by the sports information offices of 30 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

In order for a student-athlete to be eligible for academic all-area honors, he/she must be in at least their second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better.

Lodge is a Computer Science major with a 4.0 GPA and was also named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

On the track this season, the sophomore was an NCAA Championship qualifier in both the indoor and outdoor seasons, earning All-American in the 4x400 relay at the NCAA Indoor Championships back in March, and also garnered NJAC All-Conference and AATFC All-Region honors in both seasons as well.

She is joined by Brooke Adams of Ursinus, Roschell Clayton and Lydia Olivere of Villanova, Isabel Deal from Ursinus, Shania Le Maitre of Holy Family, Laura Nicholson of Temple, Gabriella Nye from Widener, Adria Retter  and Rose Teszler from Swarthmore, and Isabel Thornberry of Haverford.

Le Maitre and Retter were voted co-performers of the year.
