2ALLIANCE, OHIO – Rowan's run in the NCAA Championship came to end in the Sweet 16 as the #22 Profs fell to #12 Wisconsin-Oshkosh, 91-72, in the game held at Mount Union. The Profs finish the year with a 24-6 record, after winning the NJAC Championship and advancing the furthest in the NCAA Tournament since 1997-98.
 
UW-Oshkosh led from the tip and by as much as 11 points, 35-24, with 4:21 to play in the first half. The Titans made 7-of-13 (54 percent) from three-point range in the first half to maintain the lead.
 
Trailing 39-26 in the final minutes of the first half, the Profs scored eight straight, with five points from Ja'Zere Noel, to cut the deficit to 39-34 at halftime.

The Profs were on fire at the start of the second, making 11-of-11 field goal attempts to cut the deficit to 56-54 at 14:26. UW-Oshkosh's Will Mahoney answered with a three and although Damian Smith got the Profs within 59-58, UWO went on an 11-0 run to take a 70-58 lead with 9:33 remaining.
 
From there, the Titans built up the lead, with the final margin being the largest of the game.
 
Noel led the Profs with 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting with Andrew Seager adding 16 points as he hit 6-of-12 from the field. D'Andre Vilmar contributed 10 points for Rowan.
 
Mahoney scored a game-high 22 points for UW-Oshkosh as the Titans went 16-for-29 from beyond the arc.
 
In the game, the Titans held a 39-27 edge in rebounding and collected nine offensive rebounds to two for the Profs. UW-Oshkosh also outscored the Profs from the bench, 40-12.
 
The 24 wins are the most under coach Joe Crispin and the most for Rowan since the 1998-99 season when the Profs went 25-2.
