SALISBURY, MD – Sixth-ranked Salisbury scored four first-half goals en route to a 5-0 win over #18 Rowan in non-conference field hockey action this evening at Sea Gull Stadium.
The Sea Gulls (13-2) scored eight minutes into the contest and then Mollie Reardon had the first of her three goals just a minute later, at 9:22.
Salisbury added two more in the second quarter, by McKenna Horner and Molly Reardon, to give the home team a 4-0 halftime lead. Reardon tallied her third goal at 36:56.
Rowan (8-7) was outshot in the game by a 19-6 margin, with goalie
Mariah Juiliano needing to make seven saves.
The Profs will close out the regular season on Saturday, October 8 at Ramapo with the 2023 NJAC Field Hockey Championship set to begin on November 4
th. The tournament bracket and seedings will be announced later that night.
