Meet Highlights

EWING, NJ -- Rowan's bid to capture a second-straight NJAC Title came up short as the Profs fell to The College of New Jersey, 161.50-100.50. Both teams entered the day with identical 3-0 conference records, meaning the winner would win the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship based on regular-season competition.

RESULTS

Joe Rucci took home a first-place finish along with two runner-ups. He was victorious in the 200 fly (1:52.04), while finishing second in the 100 fly (50.91) and the 200 IM (1:56.79).

Tobias Cahnbley was first in the 1000 free (9:47.79), second in the 500 free (4:48.50), and third in the 200 back (1:55.37).

Jack Watson and Paul Riter also claimed to finishes on the day. Watson won the 100 back (50.37) with Riter finishing in a tie for first in the 50 free (21.67).

On Saturday, Rowan travels to Merchant Marine to end the dual meet portion of the schedule beginning with a 1 p.m. start.
