GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan remained unbeaten on the season as the Profs took down New Jersey City, 4-0, Wednesday night in a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest.

Gabby Dean netted two goals while Nina Carlson and Simone Pacetti each found the back of the net to account for the scoring. The defense limited the Gothic Knights to one shot as goalie Calista Burke put down her fourth clean sheet in a row and fifth on the year.

Carlson made it 1-0 in the 20th minute with her fifth tally on the year. After a shot from Olivia Giordano just outside the box, NJCU keeper Lorraine Valenzuela was not able to secure the save with the rebound coming right to Carlson for tap in. Giordano picked up the assist.

Ava Morales set up Pacetti in the 24th minute for a 2-0 lead as the freshman sent a short cross to the left side in the attacking half where Pacetti outraced a defender to knock in her fourth goal of the season.

After Dean notched her first of the evening in the 76th minute, the second came just over 10 minutes later. Dean looked to send a cross from the left flank, but her centering attempt caromed off a Gothic Knight defender and into the net.

Valenzuela ended the night with seven saves for NJCU.

The Profs continue conference play on Saturday when the team welcomes Rutgers-Newark to Glassboro for a noon start.
