Calista Burke recorded her third-straight shutout and rookie
Olivia Giordano netted a pair of goals to help Rowan to a 3-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference win at Kean on Saturday.
Simone Pacetti and
Jillian Jankowski also tallied for the Profs, who remain unbeaten at 5-0-2 on the season.
Rowan posted 12 of its 18 shots in the first half resulting in three goals. Giordano put the visitors on the scoreboard in the tenth minute off as she scored off a long ball into the box off a free kick.
Natalie Pantalone and
Emma DeMaise drew the assists for a 1-0 lead.
Pacetti made it 2-0 with her third on the year in the 23rd minute and Jankowski added to the lead with her fifth tally in the 40th minute to give the Profs a three-goal lead at the half.
Burke saw eight shots on the night and recorded three stops. Kean's Julia Masucci registered six saves in the first half.
Giordano put the wraps on the scoring in the 57th minute with her fifth goal on the year off an assist from
Nina Carlson.
After four road games in a row, Rowan returns home to Glassboro on Wednesday when New Jersey City visits for a NJAC matchup starting at 6 p.m.
