PHILADELPHIA, PA -- John Owens hit a PR in the 400 meter hurdles, clocking in at 53.64 Thursday afternoon in the College Men's Championship at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.

The time betters his mark set last weekend down at the Hopkins/Loyola Invite where he ran a 53.78.

Action continues on Friday with these Profs competing in the following events:
- The 4x100 relay team of Robert McKinney, Jah'mere Beasley, Nana Agyemang, and Owens will run in the one College Men's 4x100 heats at 1:27 p.m.
- The 4x400 relay team of Marquise Young, Agyemang, Beasley, and Amara Conte will race in the College Men's Championship of America at 3:40 p.m.
- Ahmir Johnson will compete in the long jump at noon
- Johnson and Khaliel Burnett will compete in the triple jump at 4:30 p.m.
