Wampole Selected the Philly-SIDA Men's Track & Field Performer of the Year

Sophomore represents the Profs on the Philly-SIDA Men's Track & Field Academic All-Area Team

PHILADELPHIA -- Noah Wampole was named the 2026 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Men's Track & Field Performer of the Year after a vote from the Philadelphia metropolitan area's 30 sports information offices.

In order to be eligible for the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area, an athlete must be in his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better.

Wampole, a Civil Engineering major, had a successful season in both the indoor and outdoor seasons, earning All-American honors in the high jump. A Chi Alpha Sigma and Rowan Scholar Athlete of Distinction, the sophomore also earned All-Region honors from the USTFCCCA and All-Conference accolades from the NJAC.

The Profs captured the Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship, the 12th national championship in the history of Rowan Athletics in March, while finishing runners-up at the DIII Outdoor Championships this past May.

The Haverford trio of Owen Bluman, Luke De Valpine and Thomas Fendig, Penn's  Kampton Kam, Eastern's Ryle Mellinger, Jefferson's Mason Moore, Luke Noss of St. Joseph's, Tyson Scheitrum of Gwynedd Mercy and Aiden Tobin of Ursinus rounds out the team.
