STATEN ISLAND, NY -- Rowan got its indoor season underway at the FastTrack Season Opener at the Ocean Breeze Complex on Friday. The Profs turned in some top performances on the day including a dual winner in the throws.

Emily Galvin made her Rowan debut, capturing both the shot (11.70 meters) and weight throw (15.76 meters).

The 4x800 relay team of Anna Sasse, Robin Collura, Sha'Lynn Clarke, and Gabriella Pagano clocked in at 9:51.31 for the top time.

Other highlights from Friday include Nevaeh Lorjuste claiming second in the 400 meters (59.45), Molly Lodge placing second in the 200 (25.93), and Casey Baquero with a fourth place finish in the 800 (2:26.10).

There was no team scoring at the event.

Rowan has its next meet on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at the Alvernia Winter Invitational.
