GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan's Military Appreciation Day will be held during the Profs' men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Saturday, December 3, when the Profs take on William Paterson. The women's game is set for 1 p.m. followed by the men's game at 3 p.m. in Esby Gym.
Held in conjunction with
Rowan University Military Services, there will be a Toys for Tots collection as fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the basketball games. The event will also feature display tables for the Army ROTC, the sale of Rowan-themed military apparel, as well as one for Paws Healing Heroes, a local nonprofit which aims to give a dog a home and mission with a hero who sacrificed everything for our freedom.
This serves as an extension of the 12th annual Military Appreciation Week, celebrated by
Rowan University Military Services, which honors our 606 military-affiliated students.
