GLASSBORO, NJ – Paced by three goals from
Julia Patrone and two from
Kristiina Castagnola, #2 Rowan jumped out to a 5-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back, as the Profs defeated William Paterson, 8-1, in NJAC field hockey action. Rowan runs its record to 12-0 and 3-0 in the conference.
It marked Patrone's third hat trick of the season, and the sixth in two seasons, while Castagnola recorded the 17th multiple-goal game of her career.

Patrone tallied the final two goals of the quarter, with a pair of chip shots, just three minutes apart.

Rachel Stone deflected in a pass from
Bridget Guinan at 49:08, and
Cienna Bosher did the same with a pass from Cavicchio at 59:53 to round out the scoring for the Profs.

Aida Ingram each played a half in the cage for Rowan, making one save apiece.
The Profs head on the road for a pair of games this week, at Widener on Wednesday and at #6 Kean on Saturday.
