#19 Women's Soccer Battles Stockton to a 0-0 Draw in Season Finale; Locks Up #2 Playoff Seed

Profs earn first-round bye, will host semifinal matchup on November 3rd

GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan and Stockton played to a scoreless draw Wednesday night in the regular-season finale.The Profs claim the #2 playoff seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament. Rowan will host a semifinal contest in Glassboro on Wednesday, November 2 at 6 p.m.

2022 NJAC CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

Calista Burke made one save for her NJAC-leading 11th shutout as the Profs produced its 12th clean sheet of 2022.

Rowan fired off all 18 shots after halftime and had its best scoring opportunity early in the second. A through ball into the box to Natalie Pantalone turned into a shot that got by Osprey keeper Morgan Keil, but was cleared out of the goal by a Stockton defender.

Keil ended the night with nine saves.

The Profs end the regular season without a loss for the second time in program history. The 2008 squad went 13-0-2 in regular season play and finished the season at 16-1-2 with the lone loss coming in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
