Women's Soccer Rolls Over Centenary, 6-0; Sheehan and Ryan Score Two Goals Each

GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Women's Soccer team improved to 2-0 on the young season with an impressive 6-0 victory over Centenary Saturday afternoon in the Profs Soccer Classic.

The Profs got a pair of goals each from Aidan Sheehan and Frankie Ryan while Cassidy McErlain and Simone Pacetti added tallies for the home team.

Sheehan netted both of her scores just over three minutes apart in the 14th and 17th minutes, respectively, midway in the first half to put Rowan up on top.

The offense continued early in the second when McErlain made it 3-0 less than a minute to the period. Pacetti then followed with a score with 22 minutes remaining. Ryan capped the output with back-to-back goals to account for the scoring on the day.

The goalie tandem of Bristol Pizzuto and Calista Burke kept Centenary off the board. Cyclone keeper Rachel Colt was kept busy, making 14 saves in net.

Rowan takes on Adrian tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the final game of the weekend classic. Earlier in the day, the Bulldogs scored a 2-1 win over Rutgers-Camden.
