NEWARK, N.J. -- Rowan notched their fifth-straight win with a 3-1 victory at Rutgers-Newark Saturday evening in NJAC action.

Emma DeMaise all scored first-half goals with goalie
Bristol Pizzuto recording eight saves as the Profs improve to 7-1 and 2-0 in conference play.
In the 23rd minute, Pantalone put the Profs on the board with her third goal of the year. Less than five minutes later and after a foul in the box, DeMaise made it 2-0 with second penalty kick marker. Sheehan capped the scoring with her team-leading sixth tally off an assist from
Cassidy McErlain.
After the Scarlet Raiders cut into the lead in the 55th minute, Pizzuto clamped down to make six of her eight stops in the second half.
The goalie tandem of Katie McLaughlin and Gillian Reese combined for six saves for Rutgers-Newark.
The team will step back on the pitch on Wednesday, September 29th when they visit top-ranked TCNJ in a NJAC matchup.
