Julio Lebron took second place in the decathlon at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships. He totaled 5038 points for the 10 events.

The decathlon was held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 5 and 6 at The College of New Jersey. The NJAC Championships resume on Sunday, May 9 at Ramapo College at 11 a.m.

The sophomore won the javelin with a toss of 189' 9" (57.84 m). He took second in the 110 meter hurdles (18.13) and pole vault (11' 7.75", 3.55 m). Lebron had a third place in the discus with a toss of 96' 5" (29.39 m) and he finished fifth (6:30.88) in the 1500 meters.Â

On Wednesday, he was second in the 100 meters (12.12), long jump (19' 4", 5.89 m) and high jump (5' 8.5", 1.74 m). Lebon came in third in the shot put (33' 6.75", 10.23 m) and 400 meters (58.82).
