PHILADELPHIA, PA  – The Rowan women's track & field team competed at the Philadelphia Metropolitan Collegiate Invitational.  The meet included teams from Division I, II and III and was held at the University of Pennsylvania.
 
Nicole Notarianni took sixth (14.89) in the 100 meter hurdles.  She was the top finisher from Division III in the event while the first through fifth places were Division I athletes.
 
The sprint medley relay of Promise Fadahunsi, Kat Pedersen, Amanthy Sosa Cacere and Notarianni came in seventh with a time of 4:23.37.
 
Makayla Taylor recorded a personal record in the discus with a throw of 128' 7" (39.21 m) and she finished eighth.  She also set a personal record in the hammer.  She finished ninth with 147' 3" (44.88 m).  Olivia Scattergood was seventh (150', 45.73 m) in the hammer and 13^th (101' 1", 30.81 m) in the discus.
 
Sophia Gresham finished ninth in the long jump with a distance of 16' 6.5" (5.04 m), which was a season best. 

The Osprey Invitational on Sunday, April 25 has been canceled due to the weather forecast.
