RADNOR, PA. – An early go-ahead bucket in the fourth quarter sparked Rowan to a 53-48 win at Cabrini in the hosts' Cabrini Classic on Friday.
Grace Marshall netted 13 points, 
Nicole Mallard kicked 10 while 
Dakota Adams produced a double double off the bench (12 points/10 rebounds) as the Profs have won six of their last seven contests.
The Cavaliers led for over 26 minutes in the contest including their largest of the game coming midway in the second stanza (20-12). Back-to-back three's from 
Sam Rinaldi and 
Kristina Johnson helped key an 8-0 spurt to tie things up, but Cabrini ended the half ahead, 25-20.
Mallard came alive in the third, scoring eight points, including a big triple to put the Profs up, 35-33, with just over four minutes in the quarter. Adams followed suite in the fourth as she registered eight points with back-to-back buckets early in the frame to put the visitors on top for good.
Cabrini used a three-pointer from Brielle Fitzpatrick to get within 50-48 with 48 ticks on the clock. Adams would help ice it with her layup on the next possession for a four-point edge.
Fitzpatrick finished the day with nine points. Teammate Katie Rodriguez put together 10 points and 14 boards for a double double.
Rowan will welcome in the New Year then resume action on Wednesday, January 5th as the Profs take on New Jersey City here in Glassboro in a NJAC clash.
