Women's Soccer Picks Up Big 3-1 Road Win at Stockton; Jankowski Has Two Assists

GALLOWAY, NJ -- Rowan women's soccer notched its 10th win of the season, picking up a big 3-1 New Jersey Athletic Conference win at Stockton Wednesday night. The win also improves the Profs' record to 5-1 in league play, leapfrogging the Ospreys into second place in the conference.

Early goals from Jessica Logan and Bethany Sansone staked Rowan to a 2-0 lead just over 10 minutes into the contest. Logan struck first, as she netted her second tally of the season off an assist from Jillian Jankowski in the second minute. Sansone got into the act just over eight minutes later as she made it a two-goal lead. Kalin Priest drew the assist on Sansone's second goal on the year.

The score stood into the second half until the Ospreys cut the lead in half on a goal from Salena LeDonne in the 77th minute.

Jankowski helped ice it with her second assist on the night, this time feeding Nina Carlson with a long through pass to reclaim the two-goal lead. The goal was also Carlson's second of the season.

Goalie Bristol Pizzuto recorded four stops in net. Her counterpart, Stockton's Kylee Sullivan made three.

The Profs turn their attention to this Saturday, when they welcome Kean for a NJAC matchup beginning at 6 p.m.
