GALLOWAY, NJ – Maliq Sanders and Jerry Price combined for 42 points, and Matt Green added 18, as Rowan (10-11; 6-8 NJAC) scored a decisive 97-76 road win over league-leading Stockton (13-8; 10-4), in NJAC men's basketball action.

Sanders scored 22 points with five three-pointers and surpassed 1,000 points for his college career, which includes two seasons at Holy Family University and one year at Shepherd University (WV).

Price added 20 points, including a 4-for-4 effort from behind the arc while Green connected on 6-of-12 field goals. Diante Bah led the Profs with nine rebounds and three blocks.

Sanders got the Profs off to a flying start, scoring eight points in the first four minutes to help Rowan to a 14-4 lead. Just three minutes later Green started a 13-6 run with five points, and Price scored six, to boost Rowan's lead to 27-14.

Rowan started to break the game open before halftime, going on a 14-7 run in the final four minutes, with four points from Bah and five from Sanders, to take a 23-point lead, 51-28, at halftime.

The Profs were on target from the perimeter in the half, hitting 11-of-24 from beyond the arc, while Stockton was just 1-for-16.

It was more of the same in the second half as Rowan opened it with back-to-back threes from Price and Austin Kearney. The Profs then used an 8-0 run with three-pointers by Ryan O'Leary and Sanders, and a basket from Bah, to extend the lead to 69-43 at 15:04.

Rowan took its biggest lead of the game, 74-44, on a layup from Travis Holland with 13:17 remaining. The final margin was as close as Stockton would get the rest of the game.

Rowan made 6-of-12 three-pointers in the second half and finished the game with a 17-for-36 effort.

Kyion Flanders had 18 points to lead Stockton and Othniel Nyamekye had a game-high 13 rebounds.
