Box Score WAYNE, NJ - The Rowan University women's volleyball team defeated William Paterson in straight sets, 3-0, for their second win in a row. The Profs are now 9-7 overall and 2-1 in NJAC play while Wiliam Paterson is 7-6 (0-2 NJAC).
Rowan started out the match going up, 10-1, and eventually won that first set by a 25-18 score. The Profs kept it going and posted wins of 25-19 and 25-20 to close out the match.
Natalie Ogden topped the Profs with 12 kills with
Megan Jacobi and
Lauren Horbacewicz adding 10 apiece.
Cassidy Abdalla had a team-high five service aces in the victory while
Tori Mock had 42 assists and Ogden posted 19 digs.
The Profs continue a busy week with two more matches on Saturday at the Neumann University tri-match. Rowan will face Neumann at 11 a.m. and Lebanon Valley College at 1 p.m.
