GLASSBORO, NJ – The second ranked Rowan University field hockey team won 2-0 over Alvernia University. It was the Profs' third shutout on the season.

Krystyna Hovell each scored one goal. Wagner had the first at 10:34. She hit the cage from the left side after a pass from forward
Bridget Guinan. Hovell's goal came on a penalty stroke with five seconds left in the second quarter. She leads the team in scoring with 23 points, 11 goals and one assist. In the NCAA statistics, Hovell ranks third in goals and points per game.
Rowan is undefeated with a 7-0 record and Alvernia is 5-4 overall. Goalie
Morgan Novak made four saves. The Profs totaled 22 shots while the Golden Wolves had five. Alvernia goalie Emma Beamesderfer stopped 11 shots.
