GLASSBORO, NJ – The second ranked Rowan University field hockey team scored seven straight goals in a 7-2 win against Stevenson University.

Kristiina Castagnola and forward
Krystyna Hovell each contributed with two goals. Forward
Bridget Guinan chipped in with one goal and two assists. Forward
Alyssa Magliaro totaled one goal and one assist. Midfielder
Morgan Mulvey added one goal and forward
Bridget Boyle had an assist.
The Profs are undefeated with a 6-0 record and the Mustangs are 2-6 on the season.

Abby Hainsworth shared the goaltending duties. Rowan ended the game with 17 shots and 11 penalty corners. Stevenson took nine shots and had three corners.
Rowan was ahead 6-0 after two quarters. Castagnola and Hovell had one goal apiece in the first period. Guinan assisted on both goals. In the second, Guinan, Castagnola, Mulvey and Magliaro all hit the cage one time. Hovell scored the Profs' final tally in the third quarter. Stevenson's goals came in the final stanza. Back Jean Hart produced the first goal on a penalty corner with an assist from forward Brooke Morris. Forward Emma Adams knocked in a rebound for the second.
