GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team shut out Haverford College, 1-0.
 
Forward Bridget Guinan (so. Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) recorded the game-winner as time expired at the end of the second quarter.  Forward Bridget Boyle (sr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) took the corner and passed the ball to Guinan who blasted a shot inside the far post. It is Guinan's third goal on the season.  
 
Rowan, ranked second in the nation, is undefeated with a 5-0 record. Haverford is 4-1 on the season. 
 
The Profs compiled 17 shots while the Fords took four. Goalie Morgan Novak (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) made four saves.  Haverford goalie Sunny Truslow (jr. McLean, VA/Thomas Jefferson Science and Technology) turned away six shots and back Leela Krishnan (jr. Darien CT/Darien) had a defender save.
