Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 GLASSBORO, NJ - The Rowan University volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on the first day of the Swarthmore Invitational. The Profs (5-4) fell to the host team, 3-0, and then to Cortland, 3-1.

|Swarthmore won the opening match by scores of 25-22, 25-20 and 25-21.
 
Rowan lost to Cortland, 3-1, despite winning the first set, 25-23, as Cortland scored three straight victories of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-17.
 
The team will conclude the tournament on Saturday when Rowan faces the University of the Redlands at 1 p.m. and Arcadia University at 3 p.m.
