PRINCETON, NJ – Alyssa Sanders competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University on Saturday.
 
In the unseeded 1500 meters, Sanders (so. Pitman, NJ/Pitman) crossed the finish line in fifth place with a season best time of 4:43.78. Her previous mark was 4:44.09 set at the Aztec Invitational.
 
The women's track & field team travels to the Penn Relays, starting on Thursday, April 25 and ending on Saturday, April 27. Rowan will also participate in the Carol & John Covert Classic at Moravian College on Saturday, April 27.
