CHESTER, PA – The Rowan University women's track and field team ended competition at the Danny Curran Invitational on Saturday. The two-day meet was held at Widener University.
The Profs finished 20
thout of 22 schools that competed at the invitational.
Morgan Carr (fr. Hardyston, NJ/Wallkill Valley Reg.) took fourth place in the javelin. She threw 112' 5" (34.27 m).
Madison Edwards (fr. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) had a fifth place (4:54.58) in the 1500 meters while
Carley Tool (fr. Shamong, NJ/Seneca) was 12
th(4:48.48).
Mahon McClenahan (fr. Hainesport, NJ/Rancocas Valley Reg.) came in 16
thin the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.47.
Sierra Dutko (so. Ogdensburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley Reg.) finished 18
thin the javelin with 94' 3" (28.73 m).
Nicole Notarianni (so. Kendall Park, NJ/South Brunswick) ran 17.08 in the 100 hurdles for 13
thplace.
LaNiece Brown (so. Hillside, NJ/Hillside) had a 19
thplace in the triple jump. She leaped 32' 5.75" (9.90 meters).
Lindsey Hofschneider (fr. Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) had a time of 2:29.64 in the 800 meters.
Next week, Rowan hosts the Oscar Moore Invitational on Friday, April 5. The field events start at noon on the West Campus and the track events are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Wackar Stadium.
