GLASSBORO, NJ – The second-seeded Rowan volleyball team begins its quest for the conference title when it hosts third-seeded Kean in the semifinals of the 2019 NJAC Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament on Thursday, November 7 at 7 p.m. in Esby Gym.

The Profs, who are 18-14 on the year, received the first-round bye while Kean (27-8) defeated sixth-seeded Rutgers-Newark, 3-0, on Tuesday to advance to the semifinal.
Rowan is led by seniors Kailey Gallagher, who has notched a team-high 2.92 kills per set, and Megan Jacobi, with her average of 2.57 kills per set. The Profs are in the midst of a five-match winning streak and closed out the year winning seven consecutive conference matches to go 7-1 in NJAC play.
Top-seeded Stockton (28-3) will host fourth-seeded Montclair State (22-9) in the other semifinal on Thursday.
The NJAC final is set for Saturday, November 9 at the campus site of the highest remaining seed, with the champion earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children, students and senior citizens and Rowan athletics will provide free tickets for the first 100 Rowan students with ID. Athletic passes and IDs are not accepted for NJAC Championship Tournaments.
