About the Profs
Rowan posted an inspired 27-23 win at Christopher Newport last week in which the Profs scored 20 straight points to notch the come-from-behind victory.

About TCNJ
The Lions have lost three in a row and are coming off a 62-20 defeat at the hands of #7 Salisbury. TCNJ QB Andrew Donoghue has passed for 12 TDs with WR Vinny Guckin catching six of them.

Last Time vs. TCNJ
Rowan won at TCNJ, 17-14, last year as the Profs scored all 17 points in the first half. Current junior RB Messiah Divine rushed for 31 yards on 10 attempts.

Last Time Out
QB Mike Husni rushed for three touchdowns as Rowan scored 20 straight points to rally and defeat Christopher Newport, 27-23, on the road.  Rowan's defense saved the game late as CNU had first-and-goal at two-yard line, but Anthony LaRosa recovered a fumble to seal the win with 23 seconds to go.

CNU scored on the game's opening drive and had a 14-0 lead in just eight minutes played, and a 20-0 lead with just over five minutes to go in the half. The Profs scored just before halftime to cut the deficit to 20-7. Rowan turned things around completely in the second half, scoring all 20 points in the third quarter, with a 37-yard touchdown reception by Nick Grosso and then two rushing TDs by Husni in a span of 24 seconds.

Messiah Divine had 74 yards on 24 carries while John Maldonado had five catches for 44 yards. Defensively, LaRosa had 13 tackles, with 10 solos, and Mike Mascioli and Sunny Tapp each forced fumbles. Tapp also registered one sack for nine yards. Husni finished the game with 42 yards rushing and 158 yards passing to play a key role in the Profs' rally, while two of his scoring plays came in a span of 24 seconds, including the game- winner at 1:20 of the third quarter.

Tale of Two Halves
It was certainly a tale of two halves for the Profs at Christopher Newport as they overcame a 20-point deficit. In the first half, Rowan had five first downs and 87total yards of offense but registered nine first downs and 208 yards in the second. CNU had 13 first downs in the opening half, along with 243 total yards, but the Profs' defense held them to four first downs and 73 yards in the second half. Similarly, in the win at William Paterson, Rowan had just 50 offensive yards in the first half, and only one first down, but compiled 155 yards and nine first downs in the second half.

LaRosa Honored
Senior LB Anthony LaRosa was named the NJAC Football Defensive Player of the Week for Nov. 10, after played a key role in the Profs' 27-23 come-from-behind win over Christopher Newport. It was the first NJAC honor of LaRosa's career, while he is the third different Prof defender to earn the honor this season. LaRosa had a team-high 13 tackles, with 10 solo stops, and 2.0 tackles for a loss. He also recovered a fumble with 23 seconds remaining in the game to seal the win as CNU had 1st-and-goal.
