GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan University Athletics, in conjunction with Rowan University Military Services, will be hosting a "Military Appreciation" day at its final football game of the season on November 16 against The College of New Jersey. Kickoff is 1 p.m. at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium.
The Military Appreciation event will feature an Army Blackhawk helicopter demonstration, giveaways, military resources, a rock-climbing wall, and a Toys for Tots collection. The UH 60 Blackhawk will be flown by 2009 Rowan graduate and former ROTC student, Captain David Otero, and will be on display during the game. This is Rowan University Military Services' 9th annual Military Appreciation Week, honoring 580 military-affiliated students.

Tickets are $8 (adults) and $5 (children & senior citizens). Admission is free for military personnel or dependents with a military ID. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the People for People organization, a local nonprofit foundation that provides support for veterans.
