Women's Soccer Wins 1-0 Over Eastern

GLASSBORO, NJ – Forward Daria Jones scored the winning goal for the Rowan University women's soccer team in a 1-0 shutout against Eastern University.
 
Jones hit the net in the 52nd minute after a cross from back Kelsi Stangl. It was Jones' eighth goal on the season. 
 
The Profs are 5-5-1 overall while the Eagles have a 6-5 record. Goalies Bristol Pizzuto and Alessia LaRosa shared the shutout.  LaRosa stopped six shots in 84 minutes.  For Eastern, goalkeeper Kerry Phillips made seven saves.
