Women's Soccer And Kean Play To 1-1 Draw

GLASSBORO, NJ – After two overtimes, the Rowan University women's soccer game against conference opponent Kean University ended in a 1-1 draw.
 
All of the scoring came in the first half.  Forward Lexy Monroy put the Cougars on the board in the eighth minute. She headed in a cross by forward Mariaelena Torres.  Midfielder Kalin Priest tied the score with 1:14 left.  She hit the top right corner of the net with an assist from forward Daria Jones.  It was Priest's first collegiate goal.  
 
Goalie Bristol Pizzuto made four saves.  The Profs are 4-6-1 overall while the Cougars are 4-5-1 on the season. Both teams are 1-2-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
