The Profs, ranked fourth in the nation, are 8-1 overall and the Pioneers have a 6-5 record. It was the first conference game for both teams.
All of the scoring came in the first two quarters. Magliaro started with a goal at 7:40. She deflected a pass from Hovell into the right corner of the cage. Castagnola blasted a shot for her first goal three minutes later. In the second, Wagner knocked in a pass (15:49) from Guinan after a penalty corner. Guinan dribbled into the circle and took a shot from the stroke mark for the fourth goal at 23:59. Castagnola recorded her second (28:43) when she hit the left corner of the cage.
