EWING, NJ – Second ranked The College of New Jersey won 2-1 over the #8 Rowan University field hockey team in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game.
The Lions are undefeated with a 14-0 record and they are 4-0 in the conference. The Profs are 11-3 overall with a 3-2 NJAC mark.
TCNJ's first goal came on a penalty corner. Midfielder Kayla Peterson scored at 5:49 with an assist from midfielder Jess Hatch. Forward Cayla Andrews deflected a long ball from Peterson for the second tally (34:15).
