GLASSBORO, NJ – The #8 Rowan University field hockey team had a 4-3 win over conference opponent Montclair State University on Senior Day.

Krystyna Hovell added one. Back

Alyssa Magliaro each had one.
The Profs took 18 shots and the Red Hawks collected 11. Goalie
Morgan Novak made seven saves in the victory. Prior to the game, back
Bridget Boyle, Novak and Wagner were honored. Rowan is 12-3 overall and 4-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Montclair State is 9-7 on the season with a 1-4 conference mark.
For MSU, forward/midfielders Elizabeth Cimilluca, Linsey Champa and Kelly Watson registered one goal apiece. Forward/midfielder Kellie Vizzuso totaled two assists forward/midfielder Maddie Spolarich had one. Goalie Nicole Andriani stopped nine shots.
Cimilluca put the Red Hawks on the scoreboard first at 9:22 with a pass from Spolarich. Fox tied the score (11:48) and Wagner assisted. Rowan led 3-1 at the half with two more goals by Fox in the second. Magliaro and McCabe each had an assist.
Hovell made the score 4-1 at 48:31 in the fourth quarter. She hit the cage after a pass by Wagner. Montclair State then had two straight goals. Watson scored at 49:55 and Vizzuso assisted. With 6:02 remaining, Champa cut the deficit to one when she tipped in Vizzuso's shot.
