Box Score MONTCLAIR, NJ – The Montclair State University men's soccer team won 1-0 over Rowan University on Saturday in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game.
 
Forward Nixon Soglo (jr. Burlington, NJ/Burlington) scored the winning goal at 66:12.  It was his fifth goal on the season.  Midfielder Michael Knapp (fr. Bloomfield, NJ/Bloomfield) had the assist. 
 
MSU has an 8-1-1 record with a 2-0 conference mark.  Rowan is 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
 
The Red Hawks' goalkeeper Mike Saalfrank (sr. Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey) stopped five shots for the shutout.  For the Profs, goalie Kyle Dennis (sr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) made six saves.
 
Rowan is on the road again at Stockton University on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
