Ryan Campbell recorded the winning goal for the Rowan University men's soccer team in a 1-0 shutout against conference opponent William Paterson University on Saturday.
Campbell (sr. Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) tapped the ball into the near post at 77:30 after a cross from midfielder
Modou Sowe ( jr. Harrison, NJ/Harrison). Campbell has four goals on the season and is tied for first on the team with eight points.
The Profs are 5-2 overall and the Pioneers have a 4-1-1 record. It was the first New Jersey Athletic Conference game for both teams.

Kyle Dennis (sr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) ended the game with six saves. Goalkeeper Kyle Quigley (jr. Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington Reg.) turned away four shots for William Paterson.
The Profs controlled the game in the first half with 10 shots compared to the Pioneers' two. William Paterson came back in the second and took seven shots while Rowan had five.
