GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team defeated Kean University, 3-0 in the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament on Wednesday night.
In the other semifinal game, #1 The College of New Jersey had a 1-0 win over #5 Montclair State University. The second seeded Profs (13-2-2) travel to the Lions (12-1-1) on Saturday, Nov. 3 for the conference final at 6 p.m. The NJAC champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.

Daria Jones (jr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) hit the lower left corner of the net at 12:58 on a cross from midfielder
Sarah Rosenberg (sr. Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon). Midfielder
Darah Wagner (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) buried a high shot under the crossbar with a pass by forward
Aidan Sheehan (so. Hamilton Square, NJ/Steinert). Wagner added an insurance marker at 56:50 when she blasted a shot from the 18 into the top corner on the left side.
The Profs compiled 25 shots while the Cougars took eight. Goalie
Shelby Money (sr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) stopped five shots, including a penalty kick for her eighth shutout. For Kean, goalkeeper Mary Bystrycki (fr. Ewing, NJ/Ewing) made nine saves.
