Women's Soccer Falls at Johns Hopkins, 1-0

Box Score BALTIMORE, MD – The Rowan University women's soccer lost at Johns Hopkins University, 1-0 on Sunday.
 
Midfielder/forward Paige Ackman (so. Livonia, MI/Stevenson) scored the lone goal at 38:55 on a corner kick by midfielder Jackie Tait (so. Paradise Valley, AZ/Xavier Prep).
 
The Blue Jays are 2-0 overall while the Profs are 0-1-1 on the season.  Johns Hopkins goalkeeper Bess Kitzmiller (sr. Wilsonville, OR/Wilsonville) had two saves.  Goalie Shelby Money (jr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) turned away five shots for Rowan.
 
Next weekend, the Profs travel to Virginia for the University of Mary Washington Soccer Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10.  The Profs play St. Mary's College (MD) on Saturday and Mary Washington on Sunday.  Both games are at 3 p.m.
