Box Score COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Rowan University women's volleyball team had a 3-0 victory at Ursinus College in a non-conference match on Saturday.
 
The set scores were 26-24, 25-14 and 25-22. The Profs even their record at 5-5 while the Bears fall to 3-7.
 
Outside hitter Taylor Modica (fr. Newark, DE/Appoquinimink) led Rowan with 11 kills and outside hitter/opposite Kailey Gallagher (so. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) followed with seven. Setters Katelyn Paxson (so. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) and Tori Mock (fr. Chadds Ford, PA/Archmere Academy (DE)) posted 18 and 10 assists respectively. Middle hitter Erin Keegan (jr. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) recorded seven service aces and eight digs. Defensive specialist/libero Amy Staiber (so. Morton, PA/Ridley) contributed with 15 digs.
 
For Ursinus, right side Taylor McCartney (sr. Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) registered a match-high 12 kills. Setter Paige DeAlba (fr. Schwenksville, PA/Spring-Ford) amassed 16 assists and setter Kelly Piotrowicz (so. Lansdale, PA/Lansdale Catholic) added 10. Piotrowicz also had nine digs while libero Sydney Gonzalez (jr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) chipped in with 16 digs.
 
The Profs resume conference play versus Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
