Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The 17
th-ranked Rowan University men's soccer team topped Keystone College, 3-2 in the Gilmore Alumni Classic on Friday night.
It was the first contest of the season for both teams. In the opening game, Lycoming College had a 2-0 win against Rutgers-Camden. On Saturday, Sept. 2, Keystone plays Rutgers-Camden at 5 p.m. followed by the Profs taking on Lycoming at 7:30 p.m.

Ryan Logar (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) started the scoring with 8:49 remaining in the first half. He found a loose ball at the top of the box and hit the bottom left corner of the goal.
Rowan made it 2-0 just 3:54 into the second period when midfielder
Jake Connors (sr. Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) blasted a shot from 30 yards out. Forward
Matt Hendrickson (so. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) put the Profs up by three with 23:33 left. He intercepted a clearing attempt and deposited a shot into the upper right corner.
Giants' forward Carlos Bonilla (fr. Clermont, FL/East Ridge) broke through for a goal with 15:06 on the clock. He picked up a ball in the box, dribbled around the goalkeeper and put it in the empty net. Back Andrew Lupinacci (so. Stratford, NJ/Sterling) beat the horn for the final tally with just one second to spare. He took a pass from back/midfielder Aidan Powers (so. Ringwood, NJ/Lakeland Reg.) and shot to the right side.
Despite the close score, Rowan controlled the play and outshot Keystone, 29-4. Profs' goalkeepers
Kyle Dennis (jr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) and
Kyler White (jr. Haddon Twp., NJ/Haddon Twp.) each made one save in 60:06 and 29:54 of action respectively. Goalie Malcom Moreira (so. Hillside, NJ/St. Benedict Prep) stopped eight shots for the Giants.
