Box Score 2 ROCHESTER, NY – The Rowan University women's volleyball team had a pair of losses on the final day of the New York Regional Challenge on Saturday.
The Profs (12-19) fell to Nazareth College, 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 25-23) and Buffalo State College, 3-2 (19-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-11). The University of Rochester was the host for the two-day tournament.
Outside hitter Delaney Martin (so. Syracuse, NY/Westhill) led Nazareth with 16 kills. Middle blocker/right side Kelsey Milligan (jr. Pavilion, NY/Pavilion) and outside hitter/right side Carmen Sapp (jr. Geneva, NY/Geneva) tallied 11 kills apiece. Setter/right side Jessica Barry (fr. Brewerton, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) totaled 49 assists. Libero/defensive specialist Savannah Bothner (fr. Rochester, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) and outside hitter/libero Celia Cordero (jr. Clifton Springs, NY/Midlakes) produced 18 and 10 digs respectively.

Kailey Gallagher (so. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) recorded 10 kills. Setters
Katelyn Paxson (so. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) and
Tori Mock (fr. Chadds Ford, PA/Archmere Academy (DE)) amassed 20 and 11 assists respectively. Middle hitter/libero
Erin Keegan (jr. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) registered 23 digs and four service aces. Outside hitter
Taylor Modica (fr. Newark, DE/Appoquinimink) contributed with 11 digs. Middle hitter/opposite
Gina Kisley (sr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) had seven blocks and setter
Mary-Grace Testa (sr. Kearny, NJ/Mount Saint Dominic Academy) posted five.
For Buffalo State, middle hitter/right side Eimile O'Brien (so. Marietta, NY/Marcellus) tallied 17 kills and middle hitter/outside hitter Lauren Hansen (so. Blue Point, NY/Bayport Blue Point) added 16 kills and 19 digs. Setter Tyler Reis (fr. Meridianville, AL/Hazel Green) compiled 41 assists and 19 digs. Defensive specialist Brittney Valentine (so. Marietta, NY/Marcellus) chipped in with 17 digs and middle hitter Bryanna Fisher (so. Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) had six blocks.
Kisley and Testa produced 11 kills apiece. Kisley also had four service aces and six blocks. Paxson and Mock each totaled 23 assists. Modica recorded 19 digs and Keegan registered 16.
Next, the Profs travel to Montclair State University for the opening round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m.
