Box Score NEWARK, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team scored four straight goals in the second half for a 4-1 win at Rutgers-Newark on Saturday night.

Melissa Kelly (sr. Pine Brook, NJ/DePaul Catholic) tied the score with a penalty kick at 47:35. Forward
Cathryn McCarry (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) put the Profs ahead less than seven minutes later. She took a feed from back
Emily Daigle (sr. Millville, NJ/Millville) who split the Rutgers-Newark defenders and sent the ball through to McCarry.
Midfielder
Darah Wagner (so. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) deflected a free kick by back
Casey Lubonski (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) for the third marker (58:37). Forward
Lauren Coletti (sr. Matawan, NJ/Old Bridge) brought the ball in from the top of the box and hit the net at 72:31 for the final goal.
The Profs are 11-1-2 overall and 6-0-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Scarlet Raiders have an 8-8 record with a 2-5 conference mark.
Goalkeeper
Shelby Money (jr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) recorded her 11th victory in the Rowan net. For Rutgers-Newark, goalies Diana Carvalho (sr. Newark, NJ/East Side) and Heidi Paulson (so. West Orange, NJ/West Orange) each stopped four shots in 66 and 24 minutes respectively.
The Scarlet Raiders' lone goal was a header by back Ine Collins (so. Lumberton, NJ/Rancocas Valley Reg.) on midfielder Nicole Gomez's (sr. Elmwood Park, NJ/Elmwood Park Mem.) corner kick.
