Box Score JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team needed just 59 minutes to defeat host New Jersey City University, 3-0 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match on Tuesday evening.
The set scores were 25-16, 25-6 and 25-9. The Profs did not trail at any point in the match. Rowan is 11-12 overall and 3-3 in the conference. The Gothic Knights have a 10-10 record with a 1-5 NJAC mark.

Megan Jacobi (so. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) led the Profs with 10 kills and three blocks. Outside hitter
Taylor Modica (fr. Newark, DE/Appoquinimink) recorded eight kills and setter
Katelyn Paxson (so. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) produced 17 assists. Setter
Tori Mock (fr. Chadds Ford, PA/Archmere Academy (DE)) contributed with nine assists and five service aces. Middle hitter
Erin Keegan (jr. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) tallied seven digs while defensive specialist/libero
Emma Cormican (fr. Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) and Paxson added six apiece.
NJCU outside hitter/middle hitter Stephanie Duque (so. West New York, NJ/Memorial) and outside hitter/libero Georgina Rayo (so. Jersey City, NJ/McNair Academic) recorded four kills apiece. Duque added eight digs. Setter Rachel McIntyre (sr. Drexel Hill, PA/Upper Darby) totaled 10 assists. Middle hitter Leah Seickendick (fr. Hoboken, NJ/Hudson Catholic) had four blocks and middle hitter/opposite Naiomi Cintron (jr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) chipped in with three.
Rowan begins a four-match home stand on Thursday, Oct. 12 when it takes on Swarthmore College at 7 p.m.
