Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's basketball team swept the season series versus Stockton University with a 106-90 win on Wednesday night.
The Profs are 11-6 overall and 6-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Ospreys have a 9-6 record with a 4-5 NJAC mark.

Shawn Wilson (sr. Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville) totaled 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting, 5-for-8 from three, and eight rebounds. Guard
Rob DePersia (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) registered 15 points and dished six assists. Guard
Josh Borrelli (sr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) tallied 12 points and guard
DaRon Curry (so. Deptford, NJ/Phelps School (PA)) added 11 points. Center/forward
Teirique Robinson (jr. Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) produced 10 points and nine rebounds.
Forward Maurice Hart (sr. Asbury Park, NJ/Asbury Park) led Stockton with 24 points and seven boards. Guard Khaliq Ford (jr. Millville, NJ/Millville) registered 19 points. Guards Tom Catanoso (sr. Cape May Court House, NJ/Middle Twp.) and Kashaun Barnes (so. Toms River, NJ/Manchester Twp.) and guard/forward Brandon Hamilton (so. Camden, NJ/Paulsboro) contributed with 11 points apiece. Forward Darius Jerkins (jr. Somers Point, NJ/Mainland Reg.) and Catanoso each brought down six rebounds.
The score was tied at seven with 15:49 left in the first half. The Profs had a 7-1 run to lead by six (14-8) at the 13:09 mark. Guard
Jeff Haddock (fr. Burlington, NJ/Willingboro) sank two free throws and Rowan was ahead 24-16 (9:22). Barnes made a pair at the line and the score was 30-25 (6:32). The Profs followed with an 11-2 surge for a 14-point advantage (41-27) with 4:49 to play. DePersia scored five points while forward
Jordan Sintras (fr. Sydney, Australia/St. Ignatius' College, Riverview) and Borrelli each drilled a three. Ford hit a jumper with nine seconds on the clock and the Ospreys trailed 50-41 at the break.
In the second half, Jerkins' layup cut the deficit to eight (55-47) with 17:12 to go. Rowan had the next eight points for a 63-47 lead (15:41). Wilson had five points and guard
Nick DePersia (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) nailed a triple. Robinson's layup (11:20) gave the Profs their largest lead of the game at 18 (77-59). Stockton got back in the contest with a 16-2 rally that ended at 8:32. Five different players scored in the stretch. However, Rowan responded with a 13-2 run for a 15-point cushion (92-77) with 5:28 remaining. Wilson led the charge with seven points. The Ospreys would only get within 12 (97-85) the rest of the way.
The Profs visit conference foe William Paterson University on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 3 p.m.
