Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team was defeated by Muhlenberg College and Eastern University on the second day of the Labor Day Invitational.
 
Muhlenberg won 3-2 (25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 18-25 and 15-10) and Eastern had a 3-0 (25-11, 25-11 and 25-9) victory. Rowan has an overall record of 0-4. In the other matches, Eastern had a 3-0 (25-14, 25-14 and 25-10) win over Emmanuel College, Muhlenberg beat Widener University, 3-0 (25-19, 25-14 and 25-20) and Swarthmore had wins over Emmanuel, 3-0 (25-11, 25-16 and 25-21) and Widener, 3-0 (25-22, 27-25 and 25-18).
 
The All-Tournament Team included, outside hitter Stephanie Elechko (sr. Landsale, PA/North Penn) and setter Morgan Kline (fr. Millersville, MD/Severna Park) from Eastern. Also on the team were outside hitter Erica O'Hagan (sr. Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) from Rowan and defensive specialist Sarah Girard (so. Woodbine, MD/Glenelg) from Swarthmore. Setter Shannon Hubert (so. Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) and outside hitter/right side Maggie Enestvedt (fr. St. Paul, MN/Cretin-Derham) round out the team from Muhlenberg.
 
Versus the Mules, O'Hagan came away with 11 kills and 12 digs. Outside hitter Megan Jacobi (fr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) tallied 10 kills and 10 digs. Setters Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) collected 20 assists and nine digs, while setter Mary-Grace Testa (jr. Kearny, NJ/Mount St. Dominic Academy) had 16 assists and 11 digs. Defensive specialist/libero Rebecca Dantonio (sr. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) recorded 11 digs.
 
For Mulhenberg, Enestvedt contributed with 18 kills and five digs. Outside hitter Kelly Tornetta (so. Phoenixville, PA/Pope John Paul II) added 11 kills and 11 digs. Hubert had 36 assists and 15 digs. Libero Elizabeth Garrison (sr. Glen Rock, PA/Susquehannock) recorded 21 digs.
 
Against the Eagles, middle hitter Erin Keegan (so. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) and O'Hagan each had three kills. O'Hagan also collected five digs. Testa tallied five assists and six digs. Dantonio added nine digs. For Eastern, Elechko accumulated 11 kills and eight digs. Kline had 26 assists and four digs. Defensive specialist Katie Stenby (fr. Holtsville, NY/Sachem East) contributed with 14 digs.
 
Rowan returns to action on Friday, Sept. 9 as the Profs travel to Lebanon Valley College for the Dutchmen Quad. They face Penn State-Altoona at 7 p.m.
