Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team lost to Kean University, 3-1 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match on Tuesday night.
 
The set scores were 25-16, 24-26, 25-16 annd 25-23. The Profs are 3-12 overall and they are 2-1 in the NJAC. The Cougars have an overall mark of 10-5 and have a 2-2 conference record.
 
Kean was led by outside hitter Vikki Stec (so. Elmwood Park, NJ/Elmwood Park Mem.) and middle hitter Jesse Larkin (fr. Redwood City, CA/Woodside) who each had 14 kills. Stec also tallied 17 digs. Outside hitter Brett Harper (so. Vero Beach, FL/St. Edward's) and middle hitter/outside hitter Sara Ridgway (jr. Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) recorded 10 kills apiece. Harper also added 10 digs and four blocks, while Ridgway had five blocks. Setter Kendall Sonico (jr. Los Angeles, CA/Warren) collected 40 assists and 13 digs.
 
For Rowan, outside hitter 
Megan Jacobi (fr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) accumulated 14 kills. Outside hitter 
Kailey Gallagher (fr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had 10 kills and five blocks. Setter 
Kat Wolf (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) tallied 22 assists and 11 digs, while setter 
Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) added 15 assists and 11 digs. Defensive specialist/libero 
Rebecca Dantonio (sr. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) and middle hitter 
Erin Keegan (so. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) recorded 20 and 12 digs respectively.
 
Rowan now has six days off before traveling to Montclair State University for a 7 p.m. match on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
